Project interruptus

The Beloved and I have been working very closely together on a project recently, and we are expecting to go live with it on or around February 7.

Said project will emerge kicking and screaming into the real world around that time, and while I can’t speak for The Beloved, I can say that working on this project has been one of the hardest and most exhausting things I’ve done yet.

Departures

Today was my last day at my this-will-only-be-for-two-weeks-oh-look-at-that-it’s-six-months-later job.

Jumping for joy aside, I’ve kept my departure to a fairly quiet roar, mainly because I’m not great with goodbyes, and am never sure whether a handshake or hug should apply to these reserved Brits (for future reference, it’s a handshake).
